It’s 2010! Yay. lol
It’s been a year since I’ve blogged.
Well, not really but sorta. I’ve had a lot of stuff going on.
So school is coming up in a couple days, back to the old grind. I’ve probably got 4 semesters left including this one so I’m so close to getting out I can taste it. Thank goodness. But I’m worried this will be a really difficult semester even though I’m only taking 12 hours. I really want to add another class but I’ve got one that doesn’t even count toward my hours, just a giant *censored* test that’s like a final exam for 10 classes. Ugh.
Well all is peaceful in Auburn today. I have some stuff I wanna add to this site once I figure out how. I think I’m going to start uploading some of my photos and artwork in a gallery. We’ll see how that goes. Should give me something to do here. I feel bad for not updating it much.
Toodles for now.

So… today’s been swell.
That’s sarcasm. But overall I’m a happy camper.
I’ve been having issues with my computer the past week or so and I finally decided to do something about it. I had narrowed it down to a problem with my graphics card (Which is a 3.5 yr old eVGA 7900GT KO 512MB edition, solid little card) and needed to get some tech support. eVGA’s website it a little different in this regard, as there is no way to email tech support unless you have registered your card. I had registered mine, but unfortunately, I had forgotten my login info. Good one, Dan.
Anyway, I called their tech support line and was pleasantly surprised to talk to people who speak English, and not only that, they were experts, knew what they were talking about, and were extremely helpful, friendly, and to-the-point.
My graphics card is fried. So I’m RMA-ing it soon, hopefully I’ll get a shiny new card pretty soon. In order to RMA you need your user ID and such, which I was locked out of and had no means of password recovery since my old email account was deleted. The guy I was talking to reset all the info for me so I could get back in. Awesome.
Their tech support is A+++++ and I will surely continue doing business with them in the future for that fact. Not to mention the nice products they kick out.
I hope I can find my invoice for this card lol… ![]()
But anyway, I’m going to be rocking an 8MB PCI card made by Diamond in 1997 until I get my replacement. Life is good.
That’s all for now.

What a month this has been so far. Lots of crappy tests and a bunch of other stuff going on, but I’m now on Thanksgiving Break. Which is what I would like to give thanks to this year. What a trip.
Birthdays this month… Jordan, Elizabeth, and Dad. Happy birthday to you all. I’m sorry I’m missing most of them but best wishes your way from up in Auburn.
Things to do this week… sell an Iron Bowl ticket, finish my matlab code, and do a project for differential equations. What a fun week off huh? I thought so too.
But I’m looking forward to seeing some of the family this week. Big Thanksgiving lunch with the Stumpe’s. Can’t wait!
That’s all for now, I’m busy being a pimp. Bye.

Hi all. It’s been a while since I posted. Things have been so hectic lately and I’ve been wanting to get on here and say stuff but I’ve been drawing blanks. It’s about bedtime so I’m gonna spill my brain and call it a night. I have much to do. So here’s what’s been going on with me lately.
Today started out kinda nicely if you don’t count the beginning. I finally got the donuts I’ve been itching to eat. 2 pumpkin, 2 chocolate iced with sprinkles, and 2 “peanut butter cup.” They are actually quite delicious. I’m going to go ahead and plug D Square donuts, if you’re in the AU-Opelika area check these guys out. They are in the shopping center behind McAllister’s.
Yeah, 2 of them are square. Left is filled with PB creme, middle has a hole in it but it’s hard to see since it’s squished and blurry…
Got to race a little with Jordan today, that was fun. I wish I could play with him more often but school and life seem to get in the way a lot. I feel a lot busier than I really am and I have a hard time with it sometimes.
Very sad about my car. Not sure why, I just feel sad. I feel like I’m getting bored of it. But I know it’s not that. I love that car to death, and I still love it every time I get to drive it even with the state it’s in lately. But until I can get it up to speed, I’m just unhappy. It needs new tires which I’ll be getting soon, and a few more things which I’m having trouble affording right now. I’ll hit 100,000 miles Monday so I’m due for a new timing belt and probably a few more things. But I feel so terrible, the fact that I’m spending about a quarter of the price of another used car I could get on something that’s broken down to get it in good driving condition… it’s saddening. And I am kinda in the mood for something more reliable and with more potential (a.k.a. cheapo project car, even though I’m not stupid enough to think I’d end up with something too reliable and still quick for 2 grand). But at the same time, I can’t get rid of my baby and I feel like I’m crazy right now for even thinking about it. The sad part is, I’m in no position for either option right now, so the cheap one will have to do as soon as I’m able.
And to wrap up the night I went out skateboarding. I found a rent-a-cop on campus (where I shouldn’t be) but managed to avoid contact. It’s not like I was being a punk tearing stuff up though. Just riding. It’s a shame it’s against the rules to skate out there but at the same time I can see why… they don’t want punks tearing stuff up lol. And it’s so chilly out tonight, I was dressed completely inappropriately. But about tonight, I’m an idiot and I have no life. I could have easily showed up at one of the many AU halloween parties I passed by as “a skateboarder” for free booze. Maybe next year. Oh and I got my first skateboarding wound tonight and it’s a doozy (not really, it’s a scratch+bruise… but it still hurts).
Head’s been a mess for the past few days since I upset a dear friend. Been having trouble getting in touch now. Hopefully we’ll be back to normal soon… I can’t stand the thought of her being sad and the days without her, especially knowing I caused it.
But sooner or later I’ll be back to normal life. I’m done studying for tests now, I think I did well on my Thermo this past Thursday, and I’m in the clear for a couple of weeks. It’s amazing how fast it’s going and how this semester is drawing to a close. But I’m speaking too soon, I have a ton of MATLAB code to write tomorrow.
Oh, and before I forget… WAAAAR EAGLE!!! Finally broke the streak. I’m happy.
And Go Broncos tomorrow.
I guess that’s all for now. A lot of thoughts lately. Hope I’m not losing my mind. But anyway I hope I can keep this updated a little more.
Work coming up this Monday and payday soon!
More later, folks…

This is slightly old news… but I’m in love so I’m going to write about it.
Toyota has a new concept car that traces its root back to the old AE-86 Trueno (we got it in the states as a Corolla), a cult-classic car made famous in Japan from an anime called Initial-D. The car became popular because of its light weight, rear-wheel drive platform, and its cheapness. It has become a popular choice for a drift car.
Fast forward almost 30 years and Toyota realizes all the cars it produces are bland appliance cars for old people. They haven’t had a real flagship sports car since the Supra in 1997, so they want to inject a little excitement into the lineup. Enter the FT-86.
The car is powered by a 2.0L Subaru boxer engine, sending all the power to the two rear wheels instead of the typical four that this engine usually drives. I’m all for Toyota pepping up their lineup, even if the concept color was in fact inspired by a monkey’s cheeks.
This car has been confirmed in Gran Turismo 5 (not sure about Forza 3, but I hope it is) if you would like to get behind the wheel without dropping the dough.
I am very excited about this though and think it’s a step in the right direction for Toyota. They have been catering to a select market for too long, and now that their reliability has been starting to go down the drain, the oldies aren’t going to flock to them like they used to. I miss the old days of Toyota where their MR2′s and Supras reigned supreme.

First day here at work at the NCAT test track. It’s a pretty neat place and I get to play with computers and stuff all day. I think this is gonna be a good little outfit.
Unfortunately it’s raining today so I’m going to be taking a half day since I can’t do too much with it raining, but I’ll be back next week and try my hand at ditch digging. For real.
But I’m excited. Now it’s time to get out of here, grab some food, go home, pig out, and cram in some weekend homweork I haven’t finished yet.
Bye folks!

Finally. It’s up with a snazzy domain name and without a funky url to mess up my codes and links.
I really have to thank Jo for getting me all set up and figuring out a really idiotic error I made trying to get a new title on the page. That was slightly embarrassing. But she’s a trooper.
She’s hosting this page too, by the way. You can visit her at www.oh-so-crispy.org.
Well… I’m happy I can start on stuff now. After half a day of fixing broken links and other things, it’s set and ready for some new content. Look for a little soon. See you folks later, I got a busy next couple of days.

Lots of stuff happened. My tests are over and I don’t want to talk about them lol.
I got some great news though. First I got a new goody.
Yay!
Also I got a job!
I’ll be working at the Opelika test track on instrumentation and other technical things on Mondays. I’m excited.
That’s all for now cause I’m lazy lol. I’ll leave you with this. Bye.

What a fun week that was and what a fun week this is and what a fun week the next will be. Thank God I get a weekend after tomorrow… I’ll be using it wisely since I didn’t sleep tonight. 5:00 AM ftw?
3 midterms next week!!! What the fudge, man. Cut me some slack, Auburn. I know it’s fun to wear me out but let’s not hit me with 3 tests at the same time, and you guys won’t have to grade tests. It’s a win-win.
In other news my grandfather cut me a check for some tires since I’m poor. He’s so sweet.
So yeah. No news on the website progress, I still can’t decide on a new URL. Class in 4 hours, I guess I’ll finish my diff EQ project over the next 2 and then screw around. Later folks.

This week’s gonna blow chunks. Thermodynamics test Thursday. Machines quiz Wednesday. Stuff I don’t understand in Electronics. On the plus side, no Diff EQ on Thursday, woo-hoo!
I want to move this page! Hopefully I’ll be able to do that this weekend after redoing a few of my links so I can move around hassle-free if need be. I might add more content later too, but I’m probably going to hold off until I get this thing moved. Might end up doing a little more customizing too. Emoticons would be nice…
That’s all for now.

UPDATE: I played with some smileys cause I’m awesome like that.
Testing………… 1, 2, 3?
These smileys and more that I don’t know how to use are brought to you by the great Jo. Go to her site and say hello.
