It’s amazing how people don’t realize how good things are until things change. Even if you count your blessings daily and know how lucky you are, sometimes you will be surprised to find that some things will wring more feelings out of you than you would have thought possible. Hindsight is 20/20. It’s inevitable to wish you knew then what you know now, wish you could be better, but in the end all you can do is your best. Life is too short to take things for granted, to be constrained by worries and pressures internal and external. It needs to be lived like it won’t be there tomorrow. And you should always let the people you care about know how much they mean to you as often as you can. I love you Jo.

It snowed in Auburn this Friday. It made for a very somber yet peaceful day. Too cold for my tastes but it was relaxing enough to go and take some pictures outside.
